an online game being released in 2012 / 2013 with NO voice chat AT ALL is absolutely ridiculous. I appreciate not everyone likes it but you can just mute / switch off.

If Smash launches with no voice chat then gg Wii U, nice knowing you.

People here are selfish enough to believe that having to mute is worse than not even giving the option of voice chat to those who DO want it.

Last time I played Call of Duty, I'm pretty sure no one actually used the voice chat to actually talk about strategy. It mostly degenerated into cussing and swearing at the guy that just killed them.

I know (if you can call it that), but there was an article saying that because there was no jack on the pro controller, voice chat wouldn't be in Blops 2 IIRC, other than that, no other games have had mention of it.
