"core" gamers make up a small part of the market and I kinda doubt that they need commercials to know whether they want to buy a Wii U or not.

Isn't this like the third time you posted this? Commercials aren't for the Core gamer anyways. Core gamers will look up all the information they need elsewhere and are already decided on the console one way or another. The commercials are intended to appeal to the impulse buyer and the casual gamer, the ones who won't bother looking for information elsewhere.

"Hardcore" gamers don't watch advertisments or TV

This. Most core gamers actively read information online instead of being informed by tv ads.

When you say it "fails" to reach the "core" audience, that implies that you think that it suppose to BE for the "core" audience, when very obviously, it was for casual gamers or people who don't know much about the Wii U.

Can we just make commercial about the actual games?

Because "hardcore" ads aren't exactly good either. Look at the Madden Vita commercial.

"core" gamers don't rely on commercials to help them decide. You think casuals go on Nintendo direct or something?

PS+ has paid it's self for me. So from here on out I will refer to any new games as free.
