Metroid.

Just sexualize Samus and have every monster that blows up show blood and guts, then it wouldn't be so different than it is now.

They already mention blood, have (real) religious symbols, and swearing (in the western sense. When I played FE 6, I couldn't believe they said "damn," "crap," and even "****" (begins with an s) so causally. They also had crosses on the bishops (not in any of the US ones) and mentioned God. In FE7, one of the characters says "there's blood everywhere." Fire Emblem in the Japanese sense would already be M.

There's also genocide and quite a bit of incest.
I'd have to change my vote to Metroid though, because it's the most probable to be successful sales-wise.

Metroid, easily. I just don't think they need any sexual content in it though, if you want to see stuff like that go watch some porn.

It would fit Metroid the best, and piss off the least fans, but I think a very gory and dark M-rated Zelda game would be a big success, sales wise.

I'd actually like to see an M-rated Metroid game, but I would be SO pissed if they showed Samus nude.
