DesperateMonkey posted...Did no one get the memo? CoD is the new Mario. A game releases EVERY YEAR and sells 20+ million? Yeah its the biggest franchise now.
I agree.
CoD has been a gaming icon ever since it started back on the Sega Master System.
There has been no hero as iconic as the hero of CoD, and the music is just awe inspiring. It's so catchy, and memorable. And the STORY, OH EM GEE, the sotry. It's so tear jerking, especially *spoilers* the scene where the hero goes to save the damsel, and then she knifes him and begins to teabag his corpse. I mean, he went through hell to save her, and that's the thanks he gets.
You thought that your princess being in another castle was tough? Try getting a combat knife in the face and proceeded by a teabagging. And man, the villain was just DASTARDLY, I mean, stealing the muffins from those blind kittens? How utterly EVIL!
I'll always think of CoD as a true legend and trend setter in the gaming industry.
Right up there with the spectacular Dark Void, and the illustrious Quantum Theory.
