" Nintendo revealed that the Wii U Gamepad can be used for 3 hours continuously and recharge in 2 hours. The battery is replaceable."

It's really bad , I've never seen a system with such a low battery life , 2 hours charging for 3 hours of playing.
That alone is making me wonder if it's really worth it. Sounds like nintendo will release a new and improved "gamepad" a few months after launch , with games that will no longer support the old one.

*Plugs in AC adapter*

*Continues playing*

*Sees no problem whatsoever*

Battery life is 3-5 hours. Still not great, but it depends on what you're doing.

I plan on just setting this in the charging cradle after gaming sessions. Not sure what the big deal is?

They're really leaving information out.

It's 3-5 hours. And if you manage to run out of batteries, it's playable with the cord in.

The AC adapter seems to have a good length to it, shouldn't cause a problem, yeh it kinda sucks.

Must have accidentally put the wrong battery pack in the pro controller :p

Right. That makes a TON of sense.

I don't play for more that 2 hours straight anyway, so it doesn't matter. And if I'll be playing a game in which the gamepad isn't used for anything than a map/stats/etc I'll just let it sit in the cradle. Problem solved.
