Since when the f*** did music become so f****** important??? All people do is f****** complain about the music. How come you people never make topics about how great music is in other games if it's so important?

Music is one of those things that most gamers take for granted, but makes a huge effect on how you feel about it. Good music (or other atmospheric background noises) can get you excited or help immerse you. Some composers believe they've done a great job when the user doesn't even realize the music's playing- that means it fits and works so perfectly that it just seems natural.

People are noticing the music in NSMBU because it's hard to ignore the fact that we have heard more than 50% of these tunes in earlier NSMB games. It wouldn't be so bad if they were remakes or rearrangements, but they're literally the EXACT same tracks. It's jarring to hear these old songs again in something we believe to be a new game. It stands out in a bad way.

Also, and this is just my opinion, I never liked the "haunted" music even when it WAS new. Of all the songs in the NSMB's library, it is by far the worst track and the one that needed to be replaced the most.

Yeah. With all the other homages to mario world it would of seemed fitting to bring it back.

Everybody was willing to forget about it but not me. I did some snooping around, found some chow hound had made a wax impression of the ice box key.
