Wii games on the tablet screen?

Hey I haven't been able to find out any concrete info on this, but will Wii games make use of the tablet screen? Basically I'm asking if I can lay in bed and play Xenoblade and other games that don't make big use out of the motion control/wiimote.

Yup, I've heard the same as FFX said. It would be a cool update feature for them to add in the future, but no one should hold their breath on that one though.

Instead of waving the remote in a given direction you would point the stick in that direction. Not exactly rocket science.

You would use the Wii remote plus and nunchuck.

Wii games aren't gonna be modified to be played with the Gamepad

What about the Nunchuk?

What about it? I'm not gonna get into a long drawn out thing here; skyward sword did nothing that couldn't of been done with a controller, end of discussion.

Yeah agreed they aren't going to go in and reprogram old games to make them work better with the tablet. But a ton of games have no waggle functionality at all, fighting games, rpgs etc.

and where exactly did you hear this?

You won't be able to use the gamepad for Wii games. Once you get into the Wii channel's "virtual environment" only the WiiMote will function. Just like we couldn't use the Wiimotes for GC games. One analog stick obviously isn't going to give all the directions the wiimote gave us.

The only way you'll be able to use the gamepad during wii games is setting it up on the stand and pointing at it for a portable sensor bar.
