NSMBU physics

Does anyone know if the physics are the same as nSmbwii? I really hope not!

It's a NSMB game, it's going to be bad in every regard right from the get go.

No, it's Mario. What is your point?

The classic Sonic games rely heavily on physics. Its actually pretty genius compared to Mario etc.

Sonic games had some nifty acceleration/slope/feedback physics. Nothing remarkable, mind you, but it was impressive for it's time and gave the games a unique feel.
In regards to NSMBU's physics, I would wager they're the same trash as every other NSMB.

I feel like Mario has too much glide in his stride in the "new" series

As much as I hate the slippery physics of the New series, I actually hope it does have them as it'd just throw my enjoyment off for a while if I have to adjust to a new set of physics.
