NES- Final Fantasy 1 (Zelda would be #2, Metroid #3)
TurboGrafx 16- Devil's Crush or Legendary Axe 2
Genesis- Sonic Spinball (I know there are other awesome games on this system, but I was seriously addicted to spinball)
SNES- Final Fantasy 3/6
3DO- AD+D Slayer or Need for Speed
PS1- Castlevania- Symphony of the Night or FF7
N64- Mario 64
Dreamcast- Skies of Arcadia
PS2- Gran Turismo 3? Idk, I hated this system...
Xbox- GTA San Andreas
Gamecube- Phantasy Star Online (sooooooo addicted...)
Xbox 360- Lost Odyssey (honorable mention to Fallout 3, Borderlands 2, Tales of Vesperia, Forza 4, Pac-Man DX, Super Meat Boy..)
I know MS gets a lot of crap on here, but the 360 is my #2 console of all time... right behind the SNES.

I gave up on RPGs for quite awhile. Also, I was not a fan of the beginning of the 3D era at all.

Forget FFX because it sucked, but did you every play Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, Persona 3 FES, or Persona 4? Oh, HELLS yes! To all 3 of these. Kangaroo was the **** back in the day! Right on! I honestly haven't played Kangaroo since the 1980s. That and Berzerk were my favorites. I'm pretty sure my 2600 and my games are still in my parents' crawlspace somewhere. One of these days. . . |

I gave up on RPGs for quite awhile. Also, I was not a fan of the beginning of the 3D era at all. Gotta agree with this. While I liked FFX, I thought PS2 was completely overloaded with mediocre JRPGs. Xenosaga I-III, FFX & XII, and Kingdom Hearts were the only PS2 JRPGs that I managed to finish. Even SMT: Nocturne and Persona 3 failed to really pull me in (don't hate me). |
