I don't understand the importance of analogs triggers for FPSes

Right but this thread was about how the triggers are applicable to FPS's, not adventure games like the GTA series.

If you're playing a FPS with anything but keyboard and mouse you're doing it wrong anyway.

Since shooters on ps3 use l1 abd r1 triggers i dont see the point of this. The only.downside of this is on racing games and i mean simulation racing games like forza or gran turismo and im quite sure nintendo will not go into anything simullation.

analog triggers are the reason why FPS games are best on Xbox and PlayStation. There is no control method better for an FPS than analog triggers.
