What is the difference between Scribblenauts on Wii U and iPad?

The game cost me $.99 on the iPad. Should I bother with the Wii U version?

One of the most complained about issues with the first Scribblenauts was its touchscreen controls. I imagine on the iPad the controls won't be much better.
