You cant do that on ps3 or 360 either. Disk has to remain in the drive.

So can you buy an external hdd and install a retail game to it and play it with the disc in the drive? I wouldn't mind playing my bought copy off nsmbu off external even with game in the wii u drive....

You need the disk in the cd drive to play an installed game on xbox360. can you even install and play full games on ps3? I thought it only installed pieces of the game?
