Reason for Gamepad's Pathetic Battery

OMFG Did you see all that extra space... Here comes the new extended battery for the small price of $99.99 oh nintendo how dare you!

Not sure what the picture proves. In any case, its in your best interests to take out the battery when its charged as log as the pad can still run while plugged in. Otherwise that short lifespan will quickly become NO lifespan.

ah, now i understand...yea....probable. glad i never use batteries in my controllers (USB for 360...Wiimote is the only exception)

That the battery they put in is ridiculously small and not a good use of the space in there...?
