Compared to the seven year old Xbox 360, the Wii U has:

-Less games
-Less storage space
-Less RAM speed
-Weaker CPU
-Accounts tied to console
+Higher price point

Accounts tied to console for the moment. Not going to be forever.
Storage space is open source. I have a 2 TB external attached to mine.

Try harder, troll.

Hidden costs?

Also, you probably have a DVD player to watch movies.

So you have all that clutter: Wii U, harddrive, DVD player.

I have an Xbox 360. Period. I have an all-in-one solution, you pay more.

Even though this is a troll topic I'll bite.

1) system just released so of course they won't have the game library. That's like me saying that at launch the ps3 or 360 doesn't have the game library of the pc.

2) thus making the cost of the system lower. Let's the user dictate their storage space with an external drive.

3). Not a big issue, it's still fast enough to do what's needed.

4). Same as 3, lets the gpu make up for it.

5). I'll agree this is bad but could be changed in the future.

6). Yet it's still cheaper than the ps3 and 360 were at launch.
