Scalper getting owned on ebay

And its pretty funny.

Ebay charges 9% and paypal charges 3%- 12% in fees total.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-Wii-U-8-GB-Basic-Set-with-Call-of-Duty-Black-OPS-II-BRAND-NEW-/121023393874?pt=Video_Games&hash=item1c2d8e7052&autorefresh=true

Standard price with Blops 2 is 359.98 Plus tax makes it 381.00

It sold for $335, less 12% = 295.00 (-$86.00)

There more too. A lot of systems not selling for their crazy high prices, and ones that do go over, 75% of the sellers see a loss or no profit at all.

More like stupid people getting owned on eBay. I love these topics, anyone with a brain would realize this is ZERO risk, you can return it if you won't make a profit. And if you sell it for less than profit, that's even more dumb.

Once again, no "smart" scalper is getting owned, they are simply making a very small profit or returning the systems for no profit.

Yeah, they should wait a week when people are really desperate after not finding them on black friday. I have 2 waiting for the prices to go up before i sell.

starting price should be higher that what was paid to cover those costs. thats how a smart seller does it.

actually I've been monitoring it to sell off the second one I got and most are going for right around $500 at this time.

They were a little less a couple hours ago. We'll see.

I thought this would happen. It's just way oversaturated right when the system comes out. The best time was last week as presales, on Craig's List, or later (like maybe a week or so before Christmas).

Corporate America ftw

You notice ebay is still raking in the dough and average Joe's are taking it on the chin, and this is funny to you? This is why the top 1 percent keep getting richer while the rest of us fight for scraps.

Oh well this economy of perpetual growth cannot maintain itself forever.

Buyer pays for it, then he has to sell it, buy/selling on ebay enters you in a binding contract. If the seller backs out, he will get a neg feedback and probably suspended. no more ebay selling for him.
