Can I control my surround sound volume with my gamepad?

I have the gamepad set to control the tv and cable, but the volume is separate on my surround sound system. Is there anything I can do? I've gotten other remotes connected to it before, but it doesn't seem there's room to put it on the gamepad.

I don't think you can. Sucks since that feature is useless to me now. It's pretty fun annoying people watching TV by turning it off though
