Dmx4lyfe2k2Posted 11/19/2012 2:33:00 PM | Finally managed to get my hands on a Wii U, after going crazy searching for one yesterday.
I ended up getting a Deluxe (Yay!) and have never owned a Wii before (So I've never got to try out any of the games)
I ended up grabbing New Super Mario Bros. and was just wondering, what other games should I look into getting? I'm going to pick up Super Smash Bro's, but what other Wii (or Wii U) games should I also get?
Thanks!!!! --- I R Pantheon!11! |

MelkacPosted 11/19/2012 2:39:54 PM | NSMBU (if you're talking about NSMarioB Wii...), Scribblenauts Unlimited, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (pretty much Mario Kart 7 with better water/aerial parts...IN HD!!)
About Wii...Xenoblade is a must, Mario Galaxy 1&2 are too..., No More Heroes, A Boy and his Blog, Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Kirby Epic Yarn/Return to Dreamland (completely different games), Metroid Prime Trilogy (get a used copy on Amazon, it's impossible to find it on a store now...literally), Brawl, Rayman Origins (because you WILL be getting Rayman Legends on 2013, believe me, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (best edition of RE4), Okami, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, Little King's Story...
Ha, and people say Wii has no good games :P anyways, don't be worried if you have an HDTV, Wii games are upscaled. --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyhMT138BHo&feature=g-vrec |
aaronkelleyPosted 11/19/2012 2:40:23 PM | Skyward Sword. And Okami (if you didn't play it on PS2) if you like Zelda-style action/adventure/exploration games. While we're at it, Metroid Prime Trilogy if you can find it. |

1shadetail1Posted 11/19/2012 2:44:45 PM | First, get a Remote+Nunchuck set. You'll need them for Wii games.
As for games...
The two Zelda titles (Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword) are great.
If you enjoy New Super Mario Bros. U, consider getting New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Kirby's Return to Dreamland is a fine game.
Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario are two very different takes on the series, both of them pretty good.
If you like jRPGs, Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story are worthwhile.
Zack&Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure is a fantastic puzzle/adventure game.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers seems to be a love-it/hate-it game. I think it's great.
If you're lucky enough to find the Metroid Prime trilogy, definitely grab it. --- Religion is like spaghetti: either stiff and fragile, or wet and limp. |
