demand isn't super high but there is some.

Let's see a source. I can't find one anywhere around where I am.

Look my towns up on Target and Walmart, all of them have consoles:

99654, 99701

So, if you live in a ghost town of poor people with Target's and Walmart's full of unsold Wii U consoles, that means the Wii U is a flop.

Hooray logic.

Almost sad how the trolls derail all the topics on this board. It started as a how many do you think it sold topic and is now a "Alaska is small and insignificant!!!" topic. :/

Alaska is a small market. And Check targets around your area they don't have much. So what happened there?

Target isn't as big here as other stores, so they most likely didn't get the full shipments. Two of them had "in stock" as of yesterday though

Ah, Icecream. You have an answer for everything.

I'm thinking between 500k and 600k, demand isn't super high but there is some.

Lol. There are 500K preorders at GameStop alone(with a 250K plus waiting list) demand seems pretty high to me.

I am guessing around a million.

Because two stores prove diddly. Plenty of people have reported sold out stores.

People are talking about your logic. You are telling me that you think that a town in Alaska, one with little populations has an accurate view of sales across the world.

1. Little Population
2. Not enough stores
3. Not very diverse location

Look at areas like NY and Massachusetts and california etc.

Target's online inventory seems to be wonky anyhow. They claimed last night (and still do) that a couple stores around here had them in; I went to both and zilch..

I'd say around a million, maybe. Is that too low? Too high?

Sounds about right. 1 million to 1.5 million.
