Possibly, but a small sample poll on Gamefaqs, isn't enough to go on. Could be people without that problem don't read the topic to vote, or they're just playing their WiiU because they don't have the problem.

Still 13 people in less then 10 minutes is a LOT.

Also... the problem happened to me in real time.

Plus I have been reading a lot of people complaining about a rattle sense day one.

OR you could just be on the regular OS.

Where it vibrates like crazy.

I lost my vibration in real time.

It worked amazing first 2 days.

Then jumping during dance game. It just started "rattling" and the vibrate went away.

Even if mine did vanish, I won't lose sleep over it. Never found Vibration in a controller beneficial to me in anyway, hell I wasn't really aware it had a rumble feature in the gamepad anyway.

A slight rattle noise in no way indicates a problem. There are all sorts of parts in the Wii U gamepad and some of them are designed to move around.

Thank for NOT reading my topic.

I said HOLD THE BUTTONS IN.

Trust me this "rattle" is LOUD, like a toddler toy loud.

I did read it, and mine does it too. There's clearly a piece of plastic near where the pen goes in that rattles (the pen will do it if it's in, so take the pen out first).

My vibration works just fine.
