so I'm covered with sweat and broke a bunch of chairs and a bunch of furniture and threw them all down the stairs.

My dad said he went completly broke spending every single drop of his money on buying me a Wii U.

I messed it up.

Freaking damn

Why did you post this ppl were actually believing your story lol.

It hasn't happened to me thankfully, but I'll have to be careful now.

We need a firmware update to fix this.

I see what you did there.

My buddys wii u froze right after seeing 99% installing the update. He had no choice but to remove the plug. We freaked out at first but when he booted up everything was A ok. Forgot where i read it but power cycling should maybe fix a freeze. Sounds like you got bad luck though. Best bet to return it as defective and get a new one. Im sure nintendo will fix it but i dont think you wanna wait that long.

If your dad went broke buying your WiiU then how did you get money to buy the new mario game?! HUH?! HUH?!?!

I HOPE HE HITS YOU WITH THE BELT.

Sorry dude, but you or your father should have known beforehand.

The Wii U, if you are tight on money, is NOT a good investment. Ofcourse, the first priority is just having enough food and paying the bills each month. If you have money left, you shoud buy devices with multiple features, like a tablet or Xbox 360.

The price of the Wii U is pretty high for what you get.

The Mario game I spent with my money. I waited til the second day I had the Wii U to buy the Mario game, cuz I wanted to make sure it was ok with my mom to spend the last few bucks in my bank account on New Super Mario Bros. U.

I'm about to call Nintendo, now. I want my Nintendo Network ID back, it was called CREATER. I had my Club Nintendo account linked, too. On neogaf, people had trouble getting those things back on another Wii U, blah.
