Is the wiiu capable of gigabit internet?I know the ps3 is capable but I'm still searching if the Wiiu can.

The Wii U supports the 802.11n standard, which has maximum data rates of 54 to 600 Mb/s. It does not have any Ethernet ports. Using an Ethernet to USB adapter will theoretically get you speeds up to 480 Mb/s, due to the system having only USB 2.0 ports.
