I honestly feel Graphics have hit their peak.

Watch this then tell me graphics have hit a peak. High end PCs - which are always evolving - can be pushed to do incredible things, and in the not too distant future when those 4kp and 8kp TVs start coming out, imagine how blown your mind will be.

Depends on what you mean.

The more powerful the console, the more polygons you can have, and the more AI, moving objects, and effects you can have on screen at once. Tech has plenty of room to grow.

Considering on normal sized tvs the difference between 720p and 1080p is not obvious unless you're standing close to the tv. I fail to see the point in upping the resolution. I don't really feel like sitting 5 cm from my tv. Of course they will release these tvs because they have to keep coming up with new tvs so you can throw away your old one and buy a new one.

Joke topic?
Either that, or you have no idea what HD is.

Framerate, draw distance, AA, Lighting all need to be worked on, but actual graphics are hitting the wall of Diminishing returns as we approach the uncanny valley. Soon more power won't matter much as the increased cost, time and effort to push that power won't be worth the money it costs to achieve those levels.

Heck, we are already seeing it on PCs, the difference between low and max is already shrinking. 6 years ago the gap was massive, now it is just noticeable. (Oblivion was massive, Skyrim not so much, Battlefield 2 was massive, Battlefield 3, not so much)

Hopefully we start seeing a shift from chasing realism to chasing larger more expansive worlds instead.

Personally I think games lose their fantasy feel when the graphics are or get too realistic.

Hell recently I had more fun playing Earthbound than the majority of modern games.

Gaming on PC's is lame. Seriously, who the heck wants to push keyboard buttons to attack, fire, or shoot. It's all about controllers baby! Screw the PC.

Most PC games support controllers, and you can plug it into your big screen TV using HDMI and have a super console.
