Tell me more about how you can play NSMBU on it.

After you tell me how I can play Civilization 5 on the Wii U.

Heres a crazy concept. Why not have both?

I do. I also own PS3/360/Vita/3DS/PSP/DS and preordered Ouya via kickstarter.

You can build a better PC than any console out right now, and for cheaper. What's your point? Not everybody wants to play on a PC, do you understand that? If they did, we wouldn't have home consoles.

So, essentially, this topic is pointless. I'm sure you'll be able to build a better cheaper machine than the Nextbox and PS4 by the time they come out. So why post this?

well, the majority of topics are pointless... this is just one more turn in a big pile of s***

The tablet and the other stuff the Wii U comes with is clearly worth about $100. So you need to design a $200 PC that's stronger than the Wii.

Good luck.

So what does it matter if someone wants to buy the wii u or that its not a graphic power house? Games make a system.

I got bored and went over to newegg.

Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium:
Tri-Core processor Noted as weaker than PS3/360, each core must be way under 3.0 ghz easily
2 GB DDR3-1600 RAM (12.8GB/s)
Bluray-like Drive (no media disc playback, 2X speed)
Radeon HD 4770 GPU
32 GB Hard Drive
4x USB, HDMI
Cost: $350

My thrown together newegg self built PC:
AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz Quad Core Processor (easily overclocked to 3.8 GHz)
4GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866
Bluray combo drive (All media disc playback, BD-ROM 10X, DVD-ROM 16X, CD-ROM 48X speed)
Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5 (roughly 40% better than the 4770 in the Wii U going on raw numbers)
500GB 7200 RPM, 32MB Cache Hard drive (cheapest internal HDD were 59 bucks and this was the largest for 59)
4x USB, HDMI, <<<<<AND AN ETHERNET PORT>>>>>
Cost: $400

You are comparing a x86 machine code architecture against machine code that is newer and more advanced. Therefore, you need to up the CPU to Intel I3 or AMD A8 series. Next, you forgot the motherboard. Further, we don't know how many cores the CPU has nor how many simultaneous threads each core can manage. Regardless, the Athlon II is far outmatched even if overclocked. The 3.0 GHz represents cycles per second, not average completed instructions per second. There is a major difference as a CPU can't complete 1 instruction in 1 cycle.

As far as GPU is concerned, nothing was confirmed on which series the AMD GPU is, although it is more advanced than the HD4 series.

If you want an honest response, the NewEGG list here would be equivalent to what Sony can afford to sell for the PS4. And you would have been better off selecting an AMD A10 to cover both graphics and CPU.

And as far as media playback, Nintendo will have to pay a licensing fee for the Wii U to support DVDs and Blu-ray.

you really don't want to use the "it's about the Games" argument right now.

Oh, it's not that we don't fathom why they would want to. It's just simply a weak launch lineup (like any gaming console [handheld included] typically has). And really, at least personally, I've had enough Mario to go around for a long time...

What part of that PC plays Nintendo games and has a tablet controller?

what part makes you think Nintendo couldn't make the tablet and just release it and their games for PC?
