Due to high demand, Wii U systems are not available in stores.

I honestly dont know if its high demand, but rather Nintendo is not shipping very many to stores. I just got my deluxe from Walmart, they received a shipment of 3 deluxes and 2 basics. Pathetic. Yeah with that kind of shipment sure it seems like demand is very high.

My friend just walked into GS and got a deluxe like it's NBD.

Just saying.

It's just such a dilemma because I don't have one yet, and I'm getting unsure if my parents will be able to get one for Christmas.

There have been at least 2 additional shipments since launch already, with most stores getting 20-40 units per shipment. Based on what you said, a small third shipment has also gone out.

There is no winning for people like you.

If there are none in stores - it's an artificial shortage despite there being no proof

If they are easy to find because Nintendo keeps a constant supply line moving - Oh it's not selling because no one wants it.

I don't think there is an artificial short supply, my walmart got 90 of them on the first shipment, yes i work there an 'im not making of numbers.
