Nintendo should buy Sony. It would be the ultimate irony. Nintendo and Sony work together on the Nintendo Playstation. Nintendo ditches Sony. Sony makes ubersuccesfull Playstation 1 and Playstation 2. Sony falls on hard times. Nintendo buys Sony and they work together on the Nintendo Playstation 4.

Nintendo and Sony should join force and buy microsoft.
and then they erase stupid genre like FPS from the face of the earth.
and live happily ever after

yes, microsoft is the only company to have the FPS genre. What an idiotic statement.

Well this post is kind of idiotic in the first place so why not.

I know Nintendo has Metroid Prime (FPS)
And Sony has Killzone (FPS)
But Microsoft exclusives is way to many

There are a hell of a lot more FPS games on nintendo and sony consoles then those two, lol. In fact the PS3 has more games in the FPS genre the the 360.

Well can you mention PS3 exclusives ( not multiplatform ) that FPS ?.
since i don't really know much about it because i don't like FPS duh

I just know that PC games has so many FPS and assuming ( yes i admit that )
that 360 has to many shooter games that FPS

If the price is less than a hundred bucks, then yes. Otherwise, no deal.

Then perhaps you should do some research instead of simply stating crap. Seriously.

about FPS game,
I find it a waste of good character not be able to show the character real face/ appearance (Xian Mei in dead islands)

Elder scrolls/ Fallout have good system though, we can use FPS (battle heavy) and TPS for more artistic value.

Yes, but the TPS mode is so broken you only use it to look at your character,
if you used it in battle you as good as dead

They should make it more like MGS,
TPS mode is used to avoid enemy attack and eveything else
While FPS is to shoot enemy only

You have NO idea what you are talking about. Do you even know what an asset is? Assets can consist of nontangible items as well such as:
- Patents
- Copyright(s)
- IPs
- Brands

It also consists of the liquidation value of items (computers, warehouses, stores, inventory levels, stock, etc...).

And some of Sony's Assets (actually a decent bit) stem from Unearned Revenue with regards to shipped items that have not sold through and can actually be sent back to Sony should the retailer find the item to be of no worth to them and costing more by taking up shelf space than the retailer can obtain by selling the item.

However I feel that I have gone overheard here and will stop now.

TL;DR: High asset value alone means nothing.

Nintendo is worth more. Too bad.

market cap doesn't mean anything in this discussion, it only means if you want to buy stocks, and the market is always changing.

that is not the actual assets the company have.

Actually, it means everything, since buying out a company means buying a majority share of their stocks.

Sony's market cap is a little over $10 billion, which is less than the amount of money Nintendo has in cash. That means Nintendo could buy every share of Sony stock - thus owning the whole company - with nothing more than cash it already has on hand.

They could possibly buy some Sony devs like Naughty Dog, but they can't afford to purchase any of the three companies you've listed. You're talking about billions of dollars.
