Has Nintendo said anything about using Pro Controller for Wii/VC games?

I really don't want to go back to that tethered Classic Controller. Would be so nice to just have ONE wireless controller with no Wii-remote hanging from it.

Sorry when in Wii mode only Wii games and accessories are compatible.

Sorry when in Wii mode only Wii games and accessories are compatible.

What a wasted opportunity, then :/

When the Wii U VC launches it SHOULD be compatible... they understand people want to play the old games on the gamepad.

People need to just keep demanding it until Nintendo comes out with a statement.

You act like Nintendo are capable of doing it. Believe me..if Nintendo knew how to streamline their old stuff with new stuff, they would have done it. they don't know how. they are clueless.

DSiWare is integrated into the 3DS eShop, and DSiWare is also displayed on the 3DS Menu, not in a "Nintendo DSi Mode" menu.
