What is the best TV for me to buy to play the Wii U on???

What do you think is the best TV I should buy to play the Wii U on (what would make the games look best). I have a basement so I can get a TV as large as I want to (size wont matter).

Also, what TV do you use to play on your Wii U and is the quality good?

Thanks

I play on a 42-inch LCD, LG brand. I've had it for two years now, and it's been really fantastic. Excellent colors and upscaling. It's so good, it even makes Wii games look almost HD.

This looks great but its a little bit too small for me. I wanted something bigger.

Any other suggestions?

I also have LG. Most LG models are available in a range of sizes. I have a 47" but there are also 55" and 60-something" models in the same series available.

What is your price range?
What country do you live in?
What size TV are you looking for? Also how far away would you be sitting?
Do you need 3D? If so, do you care more for quality or viewing angle?
Do you want apps like Google market, youtube etc?
Do you want LED, Plasma or LCD? Plasma is good for darkrooms like your basement
Do you care how thick your TV is?

Basic questions, if you answer them, I can find a TV for you.

No limit for price (any price).
I live in Canada.
Im hoping to get a 40+ inch for the basement (bigger is better quality im assuming?).
I do not need 3D since the Wii U does not play games in 3D.
I dont care about apps (Have all of that on my iPhone).
I dont know much about the differences between LED, LCD, or plasma to be honest.
I dont care about thickness (as long as its not too thick!) decent thickness is fine.

The main use for this TV is to play the Wii U on it. So I would like the picture and sound quality to be as sharp as possible.

Thank you so much!
