Is the WiiU going to be Nintendo's last console?

The Wii was a money printing machine. The WiiU could be a colossal failure, and Nintendo would still be fine. You can't be in this industry for 25+ years without being smart and adaptive.

Agreed, they will need a string of bad consoles to move from hardware to software.

Can't see the Wii U doing so great though, has Dreamcast written all over it (people waited for the next Sony console instead).

Time will tell.

Wii U is already selling alright, plus they got the 3DS raking in dough. Nintendo could easily survive another virtual boy or 2.
