Price Drop Inevitable

$350 is just fine, wait until MS and Sony get to this gen to complain. Sony learned a hard lesson with the PS3 and now with the Vita, they are in a tough spot. Circling the drain, stocks downgraded to junk status, this is make or break for them and it's not looking good.

Pretty sure all consoles drop in price.... So, yeah.

I don't doubt it with how low it's selling.

And you think the $500+ PS4/720 with their $70+ games will sell any better? LOL!

Ouya is going to be the new king of the next generation.

A lot of trolls have forgotten that we're in a global recession and the majority of consumers don't want to spend a ton on video games when they're barely struggling to buy food.

You are highly confused about what the Ouya is.

why get a ouya when you can get a tablet that does the same thing minus a controller? Most android things are also touch screen related so, again a tablet would be more of a route to take

The Wii U sold 400k and did not sell out, so...

Still better than the 360's and PS3's launch and look how well off they are now

The 360 was sold out for months, so...

so it took the 360 two weeks to sell out and it was still lower than the Wii U's one week.

lets ignore the fact that there is a shorage of wii u in the stores, and the fact it sold 400,000 units on his first week
yes a price drop is inevitable ()

Yes, a price drop is inevitable, but a year or next holiday. Like another user said: after E3 2013, and probably a hardware bundle. I'm a collector, so hardware bundles are enticing to me.

I didn't see that many great Wii bundles in it's 6 year lifespan. I know there was the "New Super Mario Bros" RED Wii bundle, but the Nintendo Gamecube had better bundles: "Zelda 4 pak", "Zelda Windwaker/Mater Quest", "Metroid Prime", and I even saw 1 bundled w/ a Gameboy Player.

I am interested in what the New consoles have to say if and when they are announced and released. I think the PS4 may be much cheaper then the PS3 was. Is the Next Gen console race going to pan out like the current generation?

ie. Wii -U selling the best w/ the least power full hardware...

The absolute earliest we'll see a pricedrop is probably around November 2013. No way they drop it sooner.

Depends on E3.

If they show the next consoles, run some tech demo's and get some people hyped for it I can see the price dropping before that.

Eh, the tech demos are unlikely to be mind blowing . Diminishing returns are a *****.
