Zelda series on 3ds/WiiU: where do we go from here?

Just got done reading up on the official LoZ timeline, and watched the video from gametrailers that explains it in better detail. Now since we know a new Zelda is eventually coming, I am inclined to ask this question. What kind of direction would it take and which timeline would it fall under? My opinion is that it would go into the adult/flooded timeline seems most plausible, but Im at a loss on what kind of direction it would take... Futuristic possibly? Yes I know highly unlikely :)

Ocarina of time remake, haven't had one of those for a while.

Would love a throwback to the original updated in a similar fashion as 2d mario has with nsmb.

How about a 3D version of Link to the Past?

Outsource it to From Software.

I want a new top-down game. The gamepad would be perfect for this, they can do the same thing they're doing with NSMBU where you can take it away from the screen, plus if you want to have the game in HD on your TV, you can use the gamepad as a map or item screen like in OoT3D. It'd be perfect.

The Two I can see us getting is one in the 4 swords time line That can use the 3DS and GamePad as controllers maybe. And one in the Adult/Flood Time line with the graphical style from the trailer we have seen.

The timeline is the last thing they think of when making the game.

In fact you can bet they will be changing the entire timeline if they judge necessary.
It doesn't really matters since the plot of each game is fine on their own without that blasphemous timeline.

They can stick a new game anywhere they want in the timeline. It doesn't really matter.
