So did anyone else chose the playing cards because most to them the Platinum Member gifts this year blew? I did ... and boy was I shockingly surprised how awesome they actually are.

Anyone else chose these and get them yet?

I hope you like them. I have a lot of different Nintendo Decks from lots of things but these are pretty damn awesome. I almost chose the Calendar because I liked the one Gold members got sent last year. I'm glad I didn't.

I just got a message telling me they shipped. I'm looking forward to them. I am not sure whether I want to use them or keep them in mint condition. I'll probably just use them.

When you see them you might not want to use them. They truly are beautiful. I'm actually thinking about making a little display case for them. You'll see what I mean. Totally usable but too nice to play with.

When I got the cards I was expecting something similar to playing cards, the hanafuda cards feel almost like dominoes.
Apathetic since I don't care when.

Not talking about the hanafuda cards. Although those are pretty cool too. I gotta learn how to play that. Too lazy to read the instructions.
