Wii U

So why does this console get so much hate its really good fun for the kids she wouldn't be able to play a Xbox or a PS3 so well.

So don't hate its a great console for kids same witht the Wii!

I'm hoping the gamepad isn't too complicated for a 4 yr old.

I have my nephew and niece visiting 2morrow. My nephew's 10 so he's pretty good at any game, but my niece has the attention span of a mosquito.......she has no problem playing a Wii game where u just flail ur arms.......but i'm kinda nervous letting her play with the gamepad.

That's great! The Wii U is more targeted at the younger generation but by the time they hit their teens most people aren't interested in Nintendo stuff anymore.

I would pick one up for my nephew if there were driving games. I hate bringing out the steering wheel evertime for the Xbox. He can control games well with the gamepad I'm sure (steering and whatnot). Plus he like messing around with the iPad. I think it's perfect. Just...need...more...games.

To be fair a 7 year old would also like a jingling set of key too.
