As much as I disliked motion controls and think the wii-u will fail one thing I never thought of untill now is since they entered the console market with the nes there 3 for 5 when it comes to winning a generation. Plus there undefeated when it comes to the handheld market if you don't count iPads etc...

Slow drivers should have their own roads to use, special roads for special drivers. Or, there should be a lane for these special people. Maybe the right lane.

What do you mean 3 for 5?
#5PsienceWinsPosted 12/2/2012 6:44:30 PM
Actually only 2 for 5. NES beat Master System. SNES beat Genesis. Playstation beat N64. PS2 beat GameCube, Xbox, and Dreamcast. Xbox 360 beat Wii and PS3.

I'm guessing he means, the fact that they were the top selling console in 3 of the 5 generations they participated in.

Although, the Wii generation is debatable considering, no one considers them the top console and they mostly sold to casuals.

It's actually

4/6 for consoles

Color TV Game (Gen1)
NES (Gen3)
SNES(Gen4)
Wii(Gen7)
[was not in Gen2]

and

5/6 for handhelds

Game & Watch (Gen2)
Gameboy(Gen4)
Gameboy Color (Gen5)
Gameboy Advance(Gen6)
DS(Gen7)
[I put the Virtual Boy here]

With that in mind they've really got their work cut out for them since the majority of the casuals have already lost interest in the consoles they bought.
