I hope Skyward Sword was not canon, so that Zelda can go back to being superb.

Regardless whether a few very vocal people like motion or not, the controls were just fine.

No they weren't.

Also, the Wii U uses a tablet controller, and so will Zelda Wii U.

"Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword is compatible with Wii MotionPlus and although Aonuma thought about scrapping the motion controls during development, he now concedes that it would be hard to go back to the button controls as used in games such as Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Ocarina Of Time.

Asked if future Zelda games will use the MotionPlus control method, Aonuma said: "I honestly think we cannot go back to button controls now, so I think that these controls will be used in future Zelda titles, too."

So what does that mean for Legend Of Zelda Wii U and the Wii U controller? Hopefully we'll discover more at E3 2012 when Nintendo reveal Wii U's final design."

lol

Yeah, I have seen that a hundred times. But it's not gonna happen, Skippy.

Thing is that the Wii U uses a dual analog tablet controller, and a Zelda Wii U game is going to, guess what, use the Wii U tablet controller.

Lots of game devs say a bunch of things that end up not happening or not being true.

There was another interview where they retracted what they had said. I forgot. But they was looking at how to implement.the tablet controls.

So, why do you not want Skyward Sword to be canon? It didn't ruin the lore. Or at least, not NEARLY as bad as Other M did. If it's just because it's linear, then that's a silly reason.

I don't like Other M that much and I wouldn't mind really if it turned out to not be canon, but it's because of the story, not because it's linear (which is most definitely a problem).

The Wii U has a tablet controller, so Zelda Wii U is going to use the Wii U controller, so, I see lots of scrambled and over easy eggs on your face, including toast, hashbrowns, sausage and bacon. You should go clean yourself up.

I guess, but the story in SS seemed kinda bleh, and I do not like the fact that Fi is inside the Master Sword. I will never like or look at the Master Sword the same way again.

They don't make them big enough.

And also, in Skyward Sword they all burn up and you do not get a permanent shield. You have to repair them, and it's just a terrible system. I just wanted the regular Hylian shield, but nope, couldn't have that, just a bunch of shields made out of paper.

I'm sure if Nintendo tried hard enough, they'd find a way to make the next Legend of Zelda make use of either motion controls, or the Wii U controller.

Personally, I could never get used to the motion controls. I did not like them at all. Being a fan of the series, I don't see any reason why they should isolate me, or anyone else who didn't like the controls, when making the next Legend of Zelda, and any other Legend of Zelda in the future.

However, I also don't feel they should have to cut out the motion controls other people did enjoy. So if they can, and I'm sure they're more than capable of finding a way, they should make an attempt at providing the option of the Wii U controller for people like myself, and motion controls for people who want motion controls.
