Did anyone else feel a bit sad with the Wii transfer.

That's why I'm not doing it. I'll just leave the Wii to handle the Wii stuff, and have the Wii U be purely for the new stuff. I never used the Wii to play GC games either, cause I didn't want the GC going to waste.

Nah, bootmii restored the NAND after the transfer, nothing of value is lost.
