You can't send messages on the Friend List... you have to go on Miiverse? 0_o

the f*** is up with that? I mean friend list should have the option to send a receive messages. why do I have to go into miiverse to send and receive messages? Then what else sucks is you can send a friend invite from Miiverse and all they have to do is accept you. BUT if you add a friend on the friend list they never receive an invite and you have to tell them to add you >___> THEN what else bothers me is there is NO NOTIFICATION when you receive a message! A friend invited me to play a game with and I didn't even check my messages until 2 hours later... They should have the LED home menu button blink or something to tell you that you received a message. --- "You're a liar!" -Lucy / Nyu / Queen Diclonius-
Its still early, its all software. Everything can get patched, relax.
Yeah I agree with many of your points, especially about receiving messages. There should be a system setting for displaying small notices in the edge of the screen whenever someone sends a friend request, message or goes online. A blinking light tells me nothing besides "something just happened, press the Home button to find out what it is!". --- www.klustr.net || http://passid.ca/recoil || Xbox LIVE: Nitesoul || PSN: Gencoil
Yeah these are really good points, not sure how Nintendo missed something so obvious. Maybe after they get the mass amounts of bricking and poorly optimised games fixed they can start addressing some of these things. For those of us that want to use the system now and then (those of us who survived the updates) these points are pretty frustrating.
AstralFrost has picked up the trolling pace recently. What's wrong? Have you finished playing the two Vita games worth playing? Maybe you should play them again a 16th time. You should try to get your money's worth out of that system. It is a fancy paperweight though.

From all the posts it look like you are really dissapointed by it. If you don't , why do you keep posting here? It shouldn't affect you in no way what so ever then. And Im also curious, what system launch went better than this one? 360 had massive bricking, heating, RROD, disc scratching. PS3 had YLOD PS2 had DRE Also massive bricking cause of the updates? No way in hell, maybe on this board, not in the real world. --- "Anyway, my favourite ball is my right one, as my left is still tender from my infamous waterslide incident :P" --Slartibartfast42
I dunno... With Nintendo it's always like they see what other consoles are doing but they choose to do a different thing, just for the sake of not doing the same. It's ok, but when you choose that notifications should be handled with a brief flash of light on the home button and never display something more detailed, that's not doing something different: that's being plain dumb! Hey, big N! Somethime someone else does it right. It's not a problem doing something similar. If you keep on ignoring the progress made by other companies, you'll soon be left alone.

I kept hearing from people who got their unit overheated not once, not twice but three times and even more sometimes. --- www.klustr.net || http://passid.ca/recoil || Xbox LIVE: Nitesoul || PSN: Gencoil
The 360 and PS3 releases were over 6 years ago, so stop trying to use that as some stupid comparison against the amount of bricked Wii Us. We have come on a LONG way since then and for Nintendo to release consoles capable of bricking due to a pretty necessary day one update is pathetic, no matter how you look at it. Strange how you lot keep on telling people to stop making comparisons to the 360 and PS3 with hardware etc but you are all so fast to whine on about RRoD, etc. --- Make adorable new, demon friends ... grr snarl http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/672441-shin-megami-tensei-iv/64267041 Don't worry .. it's Official! |
