I'd be surprised but delighted. Mario Galaxy deserves a third game so it can go out with a big bang, HD graphics and everything. But they need to make it feel different from the previous games somehow.

I think Nintendo needs a fresh direction for a 3D Mario on the Wii U. I love the Galaxy games (perfect run aside), but for a new system it's a little too been there, done that.

Unless they finally add Mario and Luigi co-op to the third game. I agree it's a little too familiar but with HD Graphics and new control possibilities they could offer something new. I think there's untapped potential due to the Wii's limitations. If they go all out on the WIi U then it would be amazing.
