started my update like 30 minutes ago and its only got like 15 minutes left

IGN has an update up regarding the update. Just OS stability not quickness improvements.

We'll see if the freezing is indeed fixed or not.

600 megs for a firmware update is stupid though. So far I've used 3.6 gigs in just Wii U OS firmware. In a year at this rate I'll be out of space.....

Yeah they definitely need to figure out how to streamline the updates. Even my PS3 updates aren't as long as these are. 360 updates are insanely fast for me even the big complete overhauls to the UI. I'm sure it'll improve over time...

I hope it fixes the long load times between menus and games. My hard drive keeps going to sleep everytime that happens.

Anyone know what the 3DS update brought? Or is it another stability* update?



*By which I mean blocking out Flash Carts.

Some people on Neogaf said their apps open and close faster now. Along with some other minor stuff. Mine look like the same speed to me.
