Nintendo said they wont do an xbox live kinda thing, since online play is free on nintendo console, i see no problem,,

Talking about games not about system. Also PS3 does it better and its an older console and is free.

I'm starting to wonder if Mega has even played smash bros. Its online is bare minimum. Whether you like the game itself or not has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion. Someone can easily not like Smash bros gameplay period. But if you do like it, you want more online features and modes and support and at least a basic and simple way to connect with friends.

Yeah, I love SSB to death, but it's very bare bones, even more than MvC3 imo

from an online perspective*

Also,

"The gaming industry needs new styles of games to play online. Not just racers and shooters. We need party-style fighters online (ie Smash Bros.), and if racers are going to be online, for God's sake, please have weapons like Mario Kart or Sonic Racing."

Reaaaally? Okay, I can't even take you seriously now. You complain about games being "unoriginal" then say racing games need to become over-casualalized with MK and Sonic Racing items. Next you're going to tell me how all sports games need to be like the Mario ones.

What a joke.

NIntendrones embarrass themselves all over this topic...

We even got people pretending to be Halo pros and professionals with Masters.

This topic was just a bunch of guys denying or derailing my original question.

As I was reading through your topic before posting, I was pretty amazed at how many people didn't get the point of the topic at all...

Does Jak and Daxter have a sequel?

I've never played Halo for the online, and I hate actual rehashed crap such as Call of Duty. Online gaming has never been something I really cared all that much about--I used to play Warcraft III and Diablo II online, though no other game caught my attention and made me actually want to play it online.

And if more games had good online then you may have had your attention caught more often.

Look the fact of the matter is that some games will have good online, it's possible for Nintendo to do such things. However you should not expect all games to have online features at all. Simple as that.
