Paper Mario series are arguably the best and most enjoyable ones ( 64, TTYD and Sticker star)
Super Mario Sunshine is the hardest 3D Platform mario and because that it's my favourite one. Even that star number 242 on galaxy 2 didn't made a challenge for me, mario games are usually way too easy.

this poll is wrong and nonsense, despite SMG2 being a great game, but i dont care and Paper Mario, Mario&Luigi series and Sunshine will be always the best ones for me. It's just a matter of opinion though.

Voted Galaxy 2.

I would vote Paper Mario, but after Sticker Star, 2 of 4 Paper Mario games are simply bad, which is more than only 1 bad Mario platformer (Sunshine) of several.

It won the spin-off round. I would have liked to have seen Super Mario RPG or Yoshi's Island, but they didn't get the votes.

Galaxy 2 is not the greatest Mario game. This just shows the age the users of GameFAQs.
