Is this guy right often? How's his track record?

No, this guy isn't often right. I dont know how he still has a job. His job is to basicly guess what is going to happen and he is so out of touch that I can't actually remember anything he has predicited come true (though im sure he has because he comes up with so many predictions).

He isn't a video game analyst anymore, he pretty much just says things to get shocking headlines and get people to read his stuff.

I figured he was just an attention whore. The way he speaks doesn't seem professional or even eloquent enough to be much else. Dude seems crazy negative, like even more so than his job dictates he needs to be.

His track record is bad enough that people actually use his predictions as evidence of things that definitely won't happen. That logic doesn't really work, and there's every chance that he'll randomly get something right at some point, but it goes to show you how little he's been reliable in the past.
