Yeah but there are other ways to promote their stuff. Oh no they don't promote it at some cheesy event! So what?

Cheesy Event, you've watched Nintendo Direct? LOL

Wiiplayer, Nintendo direct isn't enough to market to gamers. Yes, it reaches the fanbase. But Nintendo is looking beyond the Nintendo fans with the Wii U. They're not doing to much. Last content I've seen them promote was Scribblenauts.

Btw, Nintendo direct reaches a few hundred thousands over a course of a few months. Having the VGA who probably have the same amount watching one night might not hurt.

I don't understand. You say they don't market to hardcore gamers. Which Nintendo Direct strictly does. Non gamers arn't going to watch it. Then you say they don't target non gamers, but you just said their downside of commercials was targeting non gamers.

Should Nintendo be everywhere? Sure. Are they reaching both audiences? Yes.

So, they continue to have a VGA because regular people who don't even play video games enjoy watching stuff specifically about video games? Talk about failed logic.

Nintendo is terrible at advertising stuff period. They really could have taken advantage and shown some video of upcoming games and stuff, but they dropped the ball.

Why didnt Nintendo do anything for Spike's VGA 10?

Because the VGA is garbage.

I haven't owned a Nintendo system since the N64 was relevant, and....the VGA is garbage.
