Calling all Nintendo gamers! We need your help to stop the PEGI 18+ eshop block!

#1AwesomeOSaucePosted 12/8/2012 2:24:07 AM
Now is the time to take a stand and tell Nintendo that we aren't their doormat and we won't let them get away with all the garbage they pull.
We let them get away with stuff before but enough is enough.
We have to make our voices heard right now at the start of this new gen so they don't try to do crazier stuff in the years to come.

Please if you are a UK/EU/AU gamer or even a gamer from North America or another country please take time to send an email in English to Nintendo here in the UK.

Please be kind and express yourself in a civil manner about how blocking ADULTS from any M rated / PEGI 18+ games from being purchased on the Wii U eshop until 11pm til 3 am is the most horrible and counter customer friendly system and that you demand it be changed and explain how frustrated and disappointed your are because of this.

I already sent an email and I know for a fact that if at least 10 different people send emails like this Nintendo WILL report these messages and concerns to the higher ups and hopefully they will respond and fix it.

SO please just take a few minutes of your time and write an email for t the greater good of all Nintendo gamers.

Have a great day :)

Go to Parental Controls. Select 'Let me do what I want'

I actually already called Nintendo and said most of this stuff but I guess I can send them an email too.
Seriously Nintendo needs to fix this ASAP.

If you want to be taken seriously as a gamer, you need non-Nintendo consoles too. It's always been that way, even in the Sega VS Nintendo era.

Well, given that none of the console companies in the US will allow an AO rated game to even be published on their systems (yes, all three, not just Nintendo), this sounds better on paper...though I think if that wasn't the case we'd see games here get the AO rating far more often.

Anyway, I'm surprised the game makers themselves aren't pitching a fit about this.
