Monster Hunter Tri G ultimate: Cut.Print.Lame

My expectation of the User interface was high and then I seen how they use the gamepad. Why is there a virtual D-pad? I was expecting something more streamline, not laziness. The graphics look more vibrant, higher res and such. But I'm just let down on the gamepad usages. I'm curious how is the friendlist handled? Is there voice chat support for both voice chat and non voice chat hardware owner (unlike the original Wii version)?

It's basically a port of the 3DS version.

You shouldn't have expected anything special.

As for chatting, yes they let you type stuff out, but I think you have to go to each letter with the analog sticks, and you can't actually type on the gamepad.

I think

Well damn that is ass backwards. So even though phantasy star Zero for the original DS had gamepad chat the Wii u can't? So that mean you have to text them via friendslist or miiverse for an easier way?

Yeah I was kind of hoping for a few things that would be put in for the gamepad as well, but oh well.

I sure did hate constantly typing in MHTri as well.

Why is there a virtual D-pad?

I say why not? Its not like your being forced to use it.

So no plugging earphones into the GamePad and using it's built in mic for voice chat like people did with CoD Wii U?

But that's whole point of having a right joystick.
