Yeah, it's pretty annoying for Super Mario 3D Land as well. Probably the most annoying thing, because the f***ing message pops up after each and every single level once you hit 30 minutes. --- Read the mania: http://www.fanfiction.net/~nonexistinghero In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.
me neither but it seems like nintendo is trying to eat their own ass up...
this first (read it about the 3ds as well) then the time limit... and durango and orbis is rumored to not be able to play used games.
what is the world coming too??
He's talking about the break messages that show up when you start up the game. Probably doesn't have a Nintendo game like Super Mario 3D Land that has the very, very intrusive kind. --- Read the mania: http://www.fanfiction.net/~nonexistinghero In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.
The original Xbox? I wouldn't know about that, but the 360 almost certainly doesn't unless they're extremely infrequent, I've often played Tales of Vesperia for over six hours at a time without being told to take a break, at least.
That kind of thing is extremely annoying, yeah. I wouldn't be pleased to see it included in, say Pikmin 3, as it'd really be distracting and take away from any immersion in the game's world, especially if they're going to make the messages as frequent as that. I like to game for long sessions, it should be up to the player or parental controls to select whether to show messages like that or not.
