Is the White Wii U GamePad the same as the Black Wii U GamePad?

Same technical specs and stuff, just different colours?

Color is the only difference, like with Wiimotes.

No. Nintendo put in a chip in the black and white gamepads that only makes them compatible with their respective color

The black one also doesnt show dirt, grime, discoloration from peoples oily and grimey hands on the thumsticks either (= ....So it goes both ways
