Goomba makes a topic that isn't bumming Reggie or Iwata. The world might end this year after all.

I have a DS and a PSP... that's about it.

I'm kind of ashamed to call myself a gamer right now.

Proud PS3 and PS Vita owner.
And the Super Nintendo is better than the Mega Drive.

but but blast processing?!?!?!

I've got a 360 and ps3 hooked up. At heart I'm a nintendo guy but all 3 are great gaming systems.

Actually the Mega Drive speed was indeed faster than SNES with mega drive being 7.6 mhz and SNES 3.6 mhz, SNES was indeed superior to the mega drive in every other way eccept for that one thing. That is how the whole term "blast processing" was invented by Sega to exploid that.

Genesis was still a beast console. It had the shmups while SNES had the RPG's. Both were insanely awesome and the product of a highly competitive console war during the days when developers actually had loyalty and weren't all multiplatform.

I own Nintendo, Sony, Sega, and Microsoft consoles. Will soon own a SNK console too!

If the Sega Master System was a speed bump to the NES, the Atari 7800 was a tire-staining squirrel.
