WiiU - 910k

Vita - 1.1m

Just let that sink in for a moment.

Vita's 1.1m figure includes 3 months of sales in Japan

This

FALSE, the 3 months of sales figures total to 1.4m. 1.1m if the launch weeks across all regions. Please stop posting false information just to prove a point.

Please stop making pointless threads like this, noob.

The Vita also had 5 more days of sales than the Wii U in Japan.

Also, your numbers are inaccurate. The Vita's launch Week in Japan had the system selling 324,859 units. The Week following the US and European launches, Sony announced a sales figure of 1.2 million Vitas sold worldwide. However, at this point, there were already 578,812 Vitas sold in Japan. For now, let's ignore the minor markets. We can now estimate the Vita's 1st-week sales:

Japan: 324,859
US and EU: 621,188 (1.2 million - 578,812)
----------------------------
TOTAL: 946,047

So...yeah. The Vita sold 36,047 more units than the Wii U did, guys! And it only had, like, a 5 day head start in the biggest handheld market!

Nope, sorry.

And FYI, the Vita sold over 300,000 units in its launch week in Japan, so unless it somehow sold a negative number of units over the next 3 months, it doesn't make much sense to have 1.4 million sales with them and 1.1 million sales without.

Math!

Trying to make fun of the Wii U by bringing up the Vita.

Vita doesn't need this.

Also Wii U hasn't been out a full week in Japan yet, you jumped the gun TC

That's like saying don't compare the 360 sales to the Wii due Japan not being a fan of American gaming/Consoles. Obviously if you compare the sales of the Xbox and 360, along with software sales you'll see they dislike it(Not because it's a bad system but because they don't value the games on that system as they do their Japanese consoles). 1.8 million sales in 7 years is kind of bad while the Wii has like 18 million which would make the sales very close to one another if you remove Japan from it

but ya know, if someone mentioned that, a fanboy would go "Oh, excuses, oh excuses"

So there you go, deal with it. "Excuses"

=)

Peace
