I really don't understand how NSMBU qualifies as a $60 game in this day and age

When Mario games come out they are not almost IMMEDIATELY devalued like football games are.

Pecha is having a breakdown and can't even see his own contradictions. Its quite hilarious looking at people projecting their age onto others.

Another topic that boils down to:

'You're a troll'.

'No. I say that it is you who are the troll.'

I'm older than you, my dad could beat up your mother and such and such.

I bought NSMBU because I like Mario games enough and wanted a game for my Wii U. I read the reviews, I had the money and felt it was a worthwhile investment. I made an informed decision. People have their own preferences. It's rare that I ever buy a game 'day-one', but Mario games I do. I know they will be of a certain standard and I will enjoy them so I don't mind paying the money. I imagine this is the same for many people, therefore they sell well. Also, if I get bored with it, the game retains enough value at resale so I don't lose out long-term. I like indie games, but I prefer Mario. I've played enough games to feel comfortable with that. I like Street Fighter so I buy every iteration. Thats my choice to make.

Basicslly, all of the reasons this guy listed that NSMBU isn't worth $60 were apparant prior to launch. If he's stupid enough to still buy it then get annoyed that he wasted his money then thats his problem. What people are prepared to pay for something usually dictates it's worth. I'd love it if I could have got the game for less than half the price, but that's not how companies make money. As it stands you're faced with the predicament of 'this is what it costs, take it or leave it.'. You still have a choice. I'm happy with mine.

Oh look, another person who didn't even read the topic and comes in here to tell us something personal about his experience like we're suppose to care.

Super meat boy is a crap flash game, and I've never even heard of the others lol. Super Meat Boy isn't even worth 99 cents, let alone 20 dollars.
