The last couple years for video games has been absolutely atrocious

There were already several season pass games before BF3, judging by the games you listed you didn't know this because you're strictly a Nintendo gamer unless you saw a box in-store or read on a gaming news blog or forum you casually read. I think a majority of people will absolutely disagree that those games get too much credit. I'm guessing Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon aren't overrated by any means in your book?
